The album was of course, named after the London road in St. John's Wood that houses the E.M.I. studios (although, at one time it was going to be titled, "Everest"). The cover photograph was taken Friday 8th August 1969 by Iain Macmillan at 10 o'clock in the morning. For these quick snaps the police held up the traffic for 10 minutes as six pictures were taken (in two of which Paul wore his sandals). Along with Sgt. Peppers, once again The Beatles managed to create something so iconic that it has been imitated many times.

Track Listing:
Side 1: Come Together / Something / Maxwell's Silver Hammer / Oh Darling / Octopus Garden / I Want You (She's So Heavy)
Side 2: Here Comes The Sun / Because / You Never Give Me Your Money / Sun King / Mean Mr Mustard / Polythene Pam / She Came In Through The Bathroom Window / Golden Slumbers / Carry That Weight / The End

LABELS: The labels are CLEAN and BRIGHT with NO marks/unwanted writing and only light spindles
VINYL Visual: Both surfaces have a CLEAN, DEEP, GLOSSY SHEEN and retain their original lustre. There are one or two light marks but these are of little audio consequence - the playback is SUPERB
VINYL Audio: OUTSTANDING audio - CRYSTAL CLEAR, DEEP, RICH and WARM SOUND - BEAUTIFULLY RECORDED. There are NO scratches, NO jumps/sticks, NO surface noise and barely any clicks/pops (really, hardly any). The album plays to a very high standard with NO groove-wear and NO distortion and must be critically graded EXCELLENT+ for audio - SOUNDS SENSATIONAL. NOT over-graded in ANY way as I use STRICT RECORD COLLECTOR grading standards (please refer to my feedback and 'about me' page). LOVELY COPY
SLEEVE: The original FULLY LAMINATED cover is in Nr EXCELLENT condition. BEAUTIFUL DEEP, GLASS-LIKE GLOSS to both the front and back surfaces with NO rubbing. There are however, quite a few creases, especially half-moon ones on the opening edge (please see photos). The sleeve is very flat and all spine text is CLEAR and BOLD, and the top and bottom edges are SHARP with NO wear to speak of. Overall, a very, very nice sleeve
