ONE OF THE RAREST BEATLES STEREO FIRST PRESSINGS AND IN FANTASTIC CONDITION!
VERY FIRST PRESS WITH PARLAPHONE CO TEXT.
THE FRAGILE GATEFOLD SLEEVE IS IN SUPERB EXCELLENT CONDITION WITH ONLY A COUPLE OF CORNER BUMPS.THE FLIMSY FRONT COVER IS IN SURPRISINGLY GREAT SHAPE AS ALOT OF THESE ARE DAMAGED.THERE IS MINIMAL WEAR ON THE REAR AND INSIDE.THE SPINE IS STILL SHARP AND NOT TWISTED OR DAMAGED.
THE LABELS ARE ALSO EXCELLENT WITH ONLY MINOR SPINDLE WEAR AROUND THE HOLE AND A COUPLE OF LINES VISIBLE WHEN POINTED TOWARDS THE LIGHT.
THE VINYL IS FANTASTIC NEAR MINT.FAULTLESS,NO SLEEVE REMOVAL MARKS,WISPY LINES OR PAPER SCUFFS.ABSOLUTELY NOTHING !JUST GLOSSY BEAUTIFUL LIKE NEW. I WOULD HAVE GUESSED IT WAS UNPLAYED IF IT WASN'T FOR THE SLIGHT SPINDLE MARKS ON THE LABELS.
PLAYBACK IS OF COURSE SUPERB.POWERFUL STEREO WITH NO DISTORTION AT ALL.
THE USE EMITAX INNER SLEEVE IS ALSO IN EX+ CONDITION
OVERALL THIS IS A VERY WELL LOOKED AFTER RARE BEATLES ALBUM THAT WILL PROBABLY BE AN UPGRADE FOR MOST COLLECTORS.
Grading:
MINT: Brand new condition, no surface marks no deterioration in sound, all paperwork should be in perfect condition
Excellent: The Record shows some signs of being played, there is very little lessening of sound quality. The packaging may have very slight signs of wear and /or creasing.
Very Good: The Record has been played a number of times, but there is no major deterioration in sound quality, despite slight surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Good; The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps some mild scratches. The cover suffers from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits and discoloration.
Fair: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise. It may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
I add a plus or minus when the item is somewhere between two grades
