Description
After all these year I've decided to part with this 3rd State (Cover Removed) mono version of The Beatles' Yesterday And Today Capitol LP. As a kid, I got curious about what the picture that was bleeding through the paste over white cover looked like and I removed it, not knowing what a rarity it would be. That is the reason for the rough and weathered condition of the cover. I was a kid who didn't know how to remove it properly. Do not expect anything close to mint. However with the condition of the cover, you get a chance to own a piece of collectible memorabilia at a low start price. I will do my best to describe the flaws:
- Front cover has numerous peal areas (see pictures)
- File Under The Beatles index on the top right corner visible
- Rear spine seperated
- Top spine seperated, about 3 1/2"
- Bottom spine has wear but intact
- Rear cover has ink writing visible
- RIAA #3 logo on lower right corner
- Made in US Factories Scranton, PA--Los Angeles Calif--Jacksonville ILL at bottom center
- Assorted wear and weathered marks with scotch tape traces on the spine
- Yellow Capitol '66 Sounds Great! inner sleeve that is taped on bottom side, intact on another, and split about 6" on the other. It has ID # PE 12-2FS on the lower right corner
- The Vinyl is shiney with some visible surface scratching and minor stains on both sides and is totally playable, with pops and scratches though. ID # on the side one play out groove is T1 2553 G4. On side two, G4/2
- The center lable is the black with the rainbow band around the perimeter with (T-X-1-2553) under the catalogue number
