Description
ENGLAND'S GREATEST RECORDING STARS--THE BEATLES & FRANK IFIELD ON STAGE--Self-titled Near-Mint/VG+ Mono '70's-issued reissue Album of the 1964 release--not sure if this reissue was "authorized" (like "Hear the Beatles Tell All"--Vee Jay PRO-202--1979 reissue is authorized) or "not authorized"--the portrait cover was the LATER pressing of the "cartoon" cover, which adds "Jolly What!" to the title, but the portrait cover is the rarer one of original pressings--on Vee-Jay (solid black with silver print "VJ" logo label)--there is no print on the jacket spine, the front cover has a blue background, not blue-green, and the record labels look newer than a 1964 pressing--The Beatles and Frank Ifield perform separately
This is the LP, ENGLAND'S GREATEST RECORDING STARS--THE BEATLES AND FRANK IFIELD ON STAGE
(Vee Jay VJLP-1085--mono--'70's).
- CONDITION: Record: NEAR-MINT; Jacket: VG+ (slight ring wear to front; pressing bulge on front; slight corner and edge wear with no splits).
- SONGS: (The Beatles): Please, Please Me; From Me to You; Ask Me Why; and Thank You Girl; and (Frank Ifield): Any Time; Lovesick Blues; I'm Smiling Now; Nobody's Darling; I Remember You; The Wayward Wind; Unchained Melody; and I Listen to My Heart.
