1970 1ST STEREO

A very early 1st issue made in the U. K. for the export market, predominantly for the U. S. A. It is in superb condition.
Sleeve: Excellent condition. Very clean, and his retained its original glossy finish to a high degree, and bright pictorial contrast against deep black background. Straight unblemished edges and spine. Structurally sound with no tears, rips, repairs etc or abrasions. There is a very slight corner wear and a hint of record ring-wear. lies completely flat, and there are no marks or imprints or major creases. Very neat and doesn't show its age. Has original shop sticker (U. S. A.)
The Vinyl: In a strong Excellent-Plus condition. The vinyl has retained a jet-black glossy pressing sheen all over both surfaces. Under halogen light with the disc held at various angles it is immediately obvious that the record has received only several plays. There are no warps, no scuffs, no needle drops, no groove wear, no scratches, and no hairlines which stand-out. There are a few very small feint wispy lines on either side here and there near outer rims, not visible in normal room light, but inspected closely are revealed under close light and could be from sleeve removal. The surfaces are clean and have retained their original lustre and project a strong mirror-like shine.
Mothers & Stampers: 1 G / 1 A - Making it one of the first off the pressing machines!
Inner Sleeve: Plain Original EMI inner sleeve in Excellent Condition with no splits or noticeable discolouration.
The Labels: Mint Minus condition. No play-wear to the spindle perimeter and no spindle line traces at all.
The Audio: There are no detractions over the audio, no discernible deviation from the original audio quality. It is as good as likely to be possible, very clear and lucid with only a one or two static type tics which are only audible in a few of the linking grooves between track changes purely due to age. Original deep warm tones, clear and lucid sound projection with perfect stereo channelling. No jumps, no pops, no clicks, no skips, no background noise, no sticks etc. Mint Minus - unbeatable.
