Original incredibly rare Version 2 Stereo copy of Introducing the Beatles, featuring an ultra rare original white "Stereophonic" sticker on the front cover and very early 1st matrix numbers. This is the first album of The Beatles in the US, released in January 1964, with the corrected version released in February, by Vee Jay Records. Original authentic thick heavyweight cardboard high-quality print glossy slick single-type paste over column title back cover. The bottom left corner of the front cover contains an extremely rare original 1" x 2½" white glossy rectangular sticker with "Stereophonic" in black. Original Vee-Jay VJLP 1062 / 63-3402 catalog number deep groove 2.75' diameter pressing ring silver print brackets Vee-Jay logo very rare variation label. Centered song titles and credits, including the "Coffin-King" misprint, as oppose to the correct spelling "Goffin-King", along with "Microgroove" and "Long Playing" banners. One of the rarest label variations with the silver "Stereo" print located at 12 o'clock. The full matrix numbers are as follows Side 1: S 63-3402-1 URJ 1A 1-24-64 AudioMatrix / S 63-3403-1 URJ 1A 1-24-64 AudioMatrix. The trail-off vinyl includes the "S" suffix before the matrix numbers, referring to the Stereo format of this copy. The matrix numbers also contain the "AudioMatrix" stamp, the identifier of Audiomatrix Inc., New York, along with a handwritten manufacture date stamp "1-24-64" on both sides in the trail-off vinyl, and "URJ" stamp in the dead wax, identifying this pressing as a Universal Recording Studios mastering. Incredibly rare issue pressed and manufactured at the Southern Plastics Pressing Plant in Nashville, Tennessee. This very early 1st issue comes with an original Vee-Jay Records "The Great Gospel Artists Are On Vee-Jay Records / Other Fine Albums Of Significant Interest" inner sleeve, featuring 50 color photos of other Vee-Jay releases.

  CONDITION:

COVER - EXCELLENT PLUS (EX+) Super clean heavyweight cover without any ring wear or splits. Vivid sharp front cover print. The clean back cover slick doesn’t have any tears or missing pieces. The cover contains a rigid spine with the fully readable text. The top and bottom edge almost has no wear or scuffing, with deep rich black. Some very light corner scuffing. The original authentic "Stereophonic" sticker is in excellent condition, having some very ligth scuffs seen under a strong light source.

VINYL - SIDE 1: VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+) / SIDE 2: VERY GOOD (VG)~VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+) Some very light surface hairlines, marks and scuffs from the inner sleeve. The vinyl contains a couple of long hairlines, which can't be felt with a fingernail.

LABELS - EXCELLENT PLUS (EX+) The glossy shiny labels are super clean and scuff-free, only having some very light spindle marks, the majority of which are seen under a strong light source.

VEE JAY RECORDS INNER SLEEVE - EXCELLENT MINUS (EX-) The inner sleeve is in excellent shape, only having some very light splits.
