Description
Here's a rare opportunity for the avid collector of 'Fab Four' collectable records, to get hold of the ever-elusive ultra rare FIRST PRESSING of the Beatles' debut LP, with the Black Labels with Gold Lettering. This initial pressing was withdrawn after a brief period, and replaced by the more familiar Black & Yellow Labels that were used on subsequent (pre-Apple) LPs
According to the 'Record Collector Rare Record Price Guide' this Mono Version is valued at £600 in Mint Condition (the mega rare Stereo version, one I have never come across sadly - is valued at £2,500 !!!)
Anyway here it is - described as clearly and as honestly as I can, a lovely, original and very scarce Beatles LP. In short the vinyl is in great condition and the cover, while having a couple of small defects, looks and feels good. To summarise it's as good an addition to your rare Beatles collection, as you're likely to get for this price!

Laminated E.J. Day 'Flipback' Cover
Vinyl - Excellent. There are a couple of very minor surface marks, otherwise I would have rated this as 'Near Mint'. It really is a lovely, crisp and clean piece of vinyl, almost unbelievable given that it's 46 years old!
Cover - Good. The lamination is staring to peel slightly in a couple of places (ie: lower edge & corners) The only immediately noticeable fault is on the rear / top, which has been taped. This has yellowed over the years (see photo) Other than the odd crease and those previously mentioned, it looks great and will remain so if kept in a clear protective sleeve
Vinyl - Excellent
Cover - Excellent
