Description

BEATLES UK, Rubber Soul, loud cut, original 1965 first UK mono issue.


PMC 1267, original 1965 first UK mono yellow and black Parlophone labels.


A UK album in original condition, featuring:


1. a first UK mono issue of this album featuring the 1/1 mono matrix, now referred to as the ‘loud cut’,


2. upon its first release in the UK in December 1965 attempts were made to recall these first issue 1/1 mono matrix records as the Beatles record producer was not satisfied with the overall sound balance. These first issue 1/1 mono matrix records were quickly replaced with the more familiar 4/4 mono matrix records.


CONDITION:


Sleeve has some wear as pictured but in good condition.


Record has light scuffs/marks on side one and the same plus a circular scuff, which I've pictured, on side two.
