THE BEATLES
WHITE ALBUM
Label: APPLE - Cat No: PCS 7067/7068
Matrix No's: YEX 709-1/710-1/711-2/712-2
On offer here is the CLASSIC BEATLES Album from 1968.
This is the VERY HARD TO FIND Numbered (No: 142401) Transitional Side Opening Cover Variation with Both Records and "Garrod & Lofthouse" Fully Laminated Gatefold Cover in VG CONDITION!!!
All four sides have suface marks evident, but they are not serious and after cleaning and playing through twice, I can confirm that the Album plays really well, with no skips or jumps, only minimal surface noise and SUPERB AUDIO!!!
The Cover does show some edge and spine wear and there is a crease to the spine (see photo's),but not too serious and overall is still very clean.
Comes Complete with the Original Poster/Lyric Sheet, Four Photo Prints and the Original Apple Inner Sleeves.
ALSO INCLUDED IS AN EXAM CERTIFICATE FROM THE "TRINITY COLLEGE OF MUSIC" DATED 21st JUNE 1969 (see photo's) THAT WAS FOUND IN THE COVER. (I think it's possible that the Album was given as part of the Award).
Overall, a Nice Example and worthy of placement in any Good Collection!!!
CONDITION: VINYL VG/VG ~ GATEFOLD COVER VG
THIS REALLY IS A SUPERB ALBUM !!!!! A MUST FOR ANY SERIOUS RECORD COLLECTION !!!!! ONE NOT TO BE MISSED !!!!!
