Description

The Beatles White Album ... 1968 first press No 282,955.
This is a more rare version of the album as it's mono.
It's complete, with photos, poster and original black inners. I'd describe the overall condition, for its age, as good.
I'll try to be as honest as possible with the description so you know what you're buying!
The cover is good, with the embossed 'Beatles' band name and clear serial number. It does have a mark and crease below the numbers, plus a little opening wear to the top - and top spine. But I'd say all normal and fine for a 50 plus year old record. I've certainly seen much worse.
The four stills are very good. The poster is good too - just the expected minor wear here and there. But nothing major.
The black inners are good, with a few small tears and creases here and there (pictured) - good for an album of this age.
The record labels are excellent - just a slight amount of spindle wear on side 1. The vinyl itself looks nice and clean across all four discs, save for a small hairline mark on sides 1 and 4. On play test it sounded fine ... although, on my machine - not a great one(!) - it did skip on the first track and several times on the song 'Honey Pie' (some people might not mind that! We !) So, in truth, not a faultless, clean listen, but perfectly respectable in the majority.
Matrix and stampers are:
Side 1 - XEX 709-2  3/GMO Side 2 - XEX 710-1  5/GMO Side 3 - XEX 711-1  3/TT  Side 4 - XEX 712 -1  2/AG
Overall, it's a decent - but not perfect - first press, and complete copy of a classic album. Plus a more rare mono.
Please note the postage quoted is for the UK only. I will post abroad, but the price will obviously alter.

Thanks for looking.
