Description
The Beatles - "The Beatles" (The White Album)
1968 UK Top Loader Pressing
- Condition:
- Vinyl: Strong VG+ for both discs. Minor hairline blemishes visible but all but inaudible. Occasional light surface noise, mostly between tracks. Disc 2 has a mild dishwarp, noticeable when playing the second side (picured), but it is purely cosmetic and does not affect playback. If you are a collector who is bothered by this sort of thing, this can be easily remedied with a record weight or clip (pictured). There are also devices out there that are reportedly pretty effective at flattening LPs. Personally, this flaw is so insignificant that I wouldn't bother, but I will leave that up the next owner to make that choice.
- Sleeve: VG+ with no splits or tears. Classic "Top Loader" design. Mild corner and edge bumps, but nothing major. There is glue residue from a price tag in the upper right corner, but it's really only noticeable up close. Considering the age of this bad boy, I'd say its packaging has held up like a champ!
- Inner Sleeves: Original black inner sleeves are intact and functional; LPs will be shipped in separate inner sleeves outside the jacket for added protection.
- Inserts: All original inserts included (4 Beatles portraits and poster), all in VG+ condition.
Side 1: YEX 709 1 Side 2: YEX 710 1 Side 3: YEX 711 1 Side 4: YEX 712 1
All sides of this iconic album deliver fantastic sound quality, capturing the exceptional mix of this highly sought-after pressing. This is a fantastic opportunity to own a piece of music history. The 1968 UK "Top Loader" pressing is widely regarded as one of the best-sounding versions of this legendary double album. A must-have for collectors and Beatles fans alike!
Shipping Notes: The LPs will be carefully packed outside the jacket in new inner sleeves to preserve their condition during shipping.
