Description

Here's a ultra rare original SWISS BEAT / INSTRUMENTAL EP by THE BLIZZARDS. 4 instrumental tracks in the Shadows/Surf style: Silver String/ The Squaw/The Lover/Sweetie. This band featured the guitar skills of Peter Brugger, later of great Swiss Band THE SHEAPES. Originally released in December of 1963 on the Disco-Ton Label (Alfred Lussi) AL 4890. Unfortunately, this copy has been played very often: I therefore grade the record as G+ or VG- only, a lot of surface noise, though it has to be said that this was a rather bad pressing anyhow. Labels are great, show only slight signs of wear. Cover is Excellent, has a small tear on the back and slight ringwear, but still nice. Front has autograph of original band member Freddy Bühler (Bass).  This is impossible to find, even here in Switzerland, the BLIZZARDS hails as one of the rarest Swiss Sixties releases. Better copies have been sold for a lot more than my minimum asking price.
