The complete Blue Note 7000 Series . BLP 7001 to BLP 7029 all 29 records on the Lexington label as they were released in the early/mid 1950’s
This rare Blue Note collection of 10” records features an impressive array of jazz music from various artists from the earlier era of Blue Note . These Blue Note Records releases includes all the titles from the 7000 series, all on 10" . The records are in various condition but all mainly VG though some are Good , this is a collection ready to be embraced by any die hard blue note enthusiast.
This took me over 12 years to collect and thousands of pounds to purchase as most of the came from the USA with high postage. Do you research go on Discogs etc,etc and get an idea of how much it would cost to try and complete a 7000 series collection now. It will be a bargain of the century at the starting price of the listing as they work out at £13 per record. I’ll repeat myself try buying every one of them for that.
As far as I know but someone will obviously someone correct me if I’m wrong but I don’t know another collector who has the full 7000 series. I’m on Blue Note vinyl spinners on Facebook and a couple of years ago I posted each record for a day in December as an advent calendar so you can see each record individually if you are part of that group. I love these records but it’s time to move them on to someone who will play and appreciate them as I need the space and I don’t get to play them as I have a wife who absolutely hates Jazz in all forms but I don’t want to divorce her.
