ELEKTRA ELK 4024 MONO | 1968 | GOLD LABEL ORIGINAL
No Reserve Auction! Beautiful copy of The Doors 1968 LP "Waiting For The Sun." Scarce MONO version. Gatefold jacket opens to reveal "The Celebration Of The Lizard," by Jim Morrison on inside front cover. I purchased it with no inner sleeve, so am supplying a paper sleeve. Only copy I've ever seen. I came across it in a small very well kept record collection recently.
LP Jacket: VG+/EX
The front cover has a minor ding in the middle of the S in Doors. Some jacket wear to the top of the back cover. A bit of a wave on the interior where the vinyl slides into the sleeve. No writing. Nice corners. Please refer to scan and email if you have any question at all.
Vinyl: VG++/NM-
It's likely this record was unplayed beyond the two times I've listened to it. Little to no surface noise between tracks. There are 6 distinct pops at the beginning of "Not To Touch The Earth," this being the only noticable flaw.

On Aug-08-05 at 17:54:20 PDT, seller added the following information: PLEASE READ: Though I noted above that there are "6 distinct pops" at the beginning of "Not To Touch The Earth," this turned out to be grime at the beginning of the song, which I was able to clean off using Discwasher D4+. So, this is NOT a flaw in the vinyl, but a bit of grime removed! Phew! Thanks.
