All records are graded to the Record Collector Guidelines, with extra information added as required when play tested. Also all photos above are of the exact record you will receive if successful.
These records are in near mint condition. There are no spindle marks visible on any label and no pen marks, scuffs or fading anywhere. The centres are not loose and overall the labels are near immaculate.
As for the vinyl itself, all sides are beautifully clean, have a vivid gloss and have nothing at all visible in normal light. There is even little to nothing when viewed in very bright white light! There may be th eodd most minor wispy line imaginable but nothing remotely sinister or serious. The records have no scuffs or serious blemishes and are in superb condition overall with little to no sign of use.
I carefully play tested both the records and they played really well with superb audio. Record 1 lays flat and there is no movement in the record arm. However record 2 must have a warp to it as there is a clear and noticable 'bob' in the arm on both sides.
How one record warps slightly, whilst the other has none at all, and both appear to have been rarely removed from the box has actually completely baffled me!
Anyhow this warping on record 2 has no affect on the sound produced, which is as you can imagine from such clean and rarely played records, superb throughout all four sides. It has the only the most minuscule trace of surface noise in run in and near enough silent parts and overall there is little to no interference. This 'interference', which is again very minor, cant be put down to scratches or even surface lines as the records are so clean. As they have also been professionally cleaned and dried correctly this most minimal trace element of surface noise can only be the actual sound of vinyl itself! There are of course no skips, jumps, clicks or any other serious issues. Overall it was an audio experience of high quality with crisp audio and little to no interference.
The box itself is in excellent condition. It has just very slight wear one edges and a couple of corners show light rubbing(pics). The writing along the edges is all clearly legible however and there are no splits, tears, scuffs or pen marks anywhere. Overall it is clean, bright, strong and in good shape all round. Please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible as to its condition.
Its booklet/insert is included and is in near immaculate condition. This has no creasing, pen marks, tears or grubbiness anywhere. The pages are crisp, bright and it appears to have been handled only occasionally.
It contains both its original poly-lined Decca inners which appear in great shape with little to no creasing or discolouring. However both have 2" splits in the bottom edges where they must have been resting or come under some duress. Either way despite appearing great and still being solid enough I would grade them as very good.
The boxset/records will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent within 24hrs of receiving payment to try and ensure a swift delivery.
