We just received a massive prog, electronic, psych collection, keep us bookmarked!
WOW! What you are bidding on is a out of print rock LP from THE GEORGIA PROPHETS: FEVER on the tiny Custom 8 label from the USA. If you need a nice play copy this should do nicely. Very hard to find. No bar code.
They were obviously big fans of Stills and Young, as many of the covers on this mostly covers album were done by them. And these covers are, for the most part, quite accurate, and when they do deviate, it's for the better. "Down By the River" and "Funk 49" are the highlites to my ears, featuring powerful renditions of both these now well known hits that weren't as well known in 1971. Other good cuts include "Roll Over Beethoven", "Sama Rock", "Feelin' Alright", and "Long Time Gone". I feel the rest of the stuff is off the pace of these superior tracks, and consists mostly of soul flavored material. This is a pretty rare one.
