Warehouse find! RARE 1971 USA Private Pressing 1st pressing. Cover is MINT-, disc is NEW, Mint, unplayed. With insert. FAST Shipping too!
Original 1971 US priv press very great unknown Xtian lp. Mint, new, with insert. Good News on one side Messengers on the other. Not a split lp as the members cross over. 1 side is electric rock w some nice FUZZ guitar moving rhythms and over all great playing. Other side is moving folk/rock in a bit more subdued atmosphere. Not boring or typical US skull numbing folk schlok. Message minded but not pushy. A real fave of mine. Great cvr art too! And yet another priv press with good production! RECCOMENDED! Rarely do I quote anyone but I know Ken well and have helped with his Archivist books. So here is his take. Born Again is an outstanding obscurity. Side one belongs to The Messengers, five longhaired chaps who time-warped their sound back to the UK psychedelic garage rock/beat scene circa 1966 and 1967. ‘Not Too Early’ opens with quick-paced jangling electric guitar, surging organ, heavy drums and Merseybeat harmonies – first listen I was absolutely convinced they were British . All six tracks are strong, especially the powerful ‘The Right Way’ which opens on a two-note ‘For What It’s Worth’ kind of theme, then building to an explosion of ferocious in-your-face hard rock fuzz guitar. (Ken Scott - Archivist) new copy with insert. these were never in shrink wrap so no potential probs! AND YES: Music is BEST heard on vinyl!

Grading Scale: M (mint) Record is new, shiny, never played. A Mint cover would be flawless.
M- (mint minus) Record is like new, probably played a few times, but it doesn't effect the quality of the
sound . A Mint- cover would be nearly flawless, with only traces of wear.EX (excellent) Record in great shape, may have light marks, played more than a few times but little or no surface noise. An EX cover would
show light wear, but nothing major.VG+ (very good plus) Record has been played more times, it has more marks and surface noise, but no skips. A VG+ cover would
show some wear.VG (very good) Record has been played many times, may be more surface noise, but it shouldn't skip while playing. A VG cover would look worn.
