Description
Here is a very nice original copy of The Middle Class 4-song EP on Joke Records, no. 09831. On the A-side are "Out of Vogue" and "You Belong", and on the B-side are "Situations" and "Insurgence".
This is raw new-wave punk from 1978, a year that thankfully saw disco in its final death throes, and rock'n'roll was finally coming back to life as it emerged from the fetid swamp of English progressive sludge.
Markings in the dead wax are 19831A and JS XTAL on the A-side, and 09831B and JS XTAL on the B-side.
The record is VG+, and plays just fine, it has seen very little play. There is some crackle before and after each song.
Visually, there is a cluster of light scuffs on the A-side, and a couple of scratches (see pictures). They look worse than they are, and don't really affect the play. There is light scuffing on both labels as well.
The picture sleeve is not your usual sleeve, but is just a folded piece of paper with the crease on the left side when viewed from the front. No glue. There is some minor wrinking and dogear, and some significant ring wear on the back. No tears, writing, or stickers though.
Please listen to both sides and judge the sound quality for yourself. No filtering or other processing has been done on these files.
