THE MONKEES Head 1968 1st UK Press MEGA RARE PSYCHE LP
This record has been cleaned on my vacuum record cleaning machine and played in full on high quality hi-fi to give accurate grading. My grading is based on the UK record collector grading system. I will gladly combine postage on multiple items so check out my other records. Thanks

Details:- . On offer here is the rarest of all the Monkees records and certainly their best. None of the manufactured bubblegum pop they are know for but just a superb true psyche record with brilliant tracks. This a 1969 stereo 1st UK pressing. The record is pressed on the original RCA orange label, has the first press 1/1 matrix numbers and comes in the original laminated Robert Stace sleeve. Only a tiny quantity of Head albums were pressed hence it's rarity now.
Vinyl Condition:-
Visual grade VG (Clean shiny vinyl with some visible scratches and hairlines)
Play grade EX (Overall plays as an EX grade really nice sound quality. The odd mild background click mainly in the quieter talking parts but certainly nothing major.) Fully test played on Garrard 501 Prototype, Rogers E40A Valve Amp and Quad ELS-57 Electrostatic Speakers
Sleeve Condition:-
VG+ (Overall decent clean condition. Some light creases in the front laminate mainly around the edges. The back has a very small date hand written at the bottom and another very small biro mark over one of the text words. There is no ringwear, no rips, no splits and only the very lightest of wear on the opening edge. The spine is crisp and fully readable.)
Label Condition:-
A few fine spindle marks on each side, no wear around the spindle and overall clean condition

Grading Abbreviations
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
