Description
I am selling my complete collection of The Beatles and Beatles-related records, albums, alternate versions, and novelties.
This lot is for an LP vinyl record titled "THE POPE SMOKES DOPE" by David Peel & The Lower East Side. This was released 1972 under the APPLE RECORDS label #SW-3391.
The record is in very good condition as I see some surface scratches.
The jacket cover on the front is in clean and in very good condition, with no complete split seams, although there is a only start of a split seam by the middle edge of the top seam.
Also includes the original inner sleeve with song track lyrics on one side of the sleeve.
The album was produced by John Lennon and Yoko Ono.
This is an LP vinyl record album, 12" in size and 33 1/3 rpm speed.
NOTE: There were only a small limited number of artists that were signed contract under the Beatles Apple Records (Apple Records was created and owned by The Beatles for only a few years), and hence all the different Apple records by the various artists have become a Beatles collector's item. Excluding the Beatles own albums, there were only less than 15 different artists contracted under the APPLE label.
