Description
This is the Stones' 3rd studio album, released on Decca in England, January, 1965. About half of the songs on this lp appear on "The Rolling Stones, Now!" released on London in the U.S. Feb. 1965. This is a 1st pressing with the infamous "blind man" text in the liner notes that later pressings omitted. The album cover is VG+: no splits, the seams and spine are in fine shape. The Clarifoil laminate on the front cover has a lot of wrinkles along the bottom seam but the rest of the front looks good, just a few wrinkles around the perimeter. The back cover has some writing on the top left corner and some staining. Staining also along the bottom of the back cover. The vinyl is VG+: no scratches but a few scuff marks and some fine abrasion type lines. Play tested with no skips and minimal surface noise in some areas. The record sounds great and retains much of its original gloss. The labels are in really good shape and there are only a few marks around the spindle hole. Deadwax matrix machine stamps: Side 1- XARL-6619-2A Side 2- XARL-6620-1A. This is a rare collector's item by The Greatest Rock n Roll Band Of All Time! Please email me with any questions.
