THE SOUND TRANSFUSION : Is My Mind / Ain't Gonna Eat Out My Heart Anymore (Blank label Matrix R-2293) Original 60's test pressing of a local NW (Tacoma area?) garage psych 45...Years ago I found  4 of these test pressings and 3 acetates (pictured below for reference..THE ACETATES ARE NOT FOR SALE OR INCLUDED IN THIS AUCTION, AUCTION IS ONLY FOR THE TEST PRESSING).....the 2 acetates pictured are (1) early raw versions with out horns, recorded at Audio Recorders /Seattle and (2) re-recorded in L.A. with horns/orchestration...The Test pressing, I think, is a remixed version of the L.A. acetate with the horns more buried in the mix...just speculation...I have tried to unravel this mystery for years, the only reference to the band I have seen are a couple psychedelic handbills from Portland Oregon listing them as the opening band ; and a 1967-1968 Puyallup High School yearbood pitcuring them playing at a dance.....the test pressing was unplayed when I found it and all 4 had surface noise, probably from poor mastering, at the end of "Aint gonna eat out my heart anymore"  side , a couple little pressing flaws that do not sound as well - EX ........again this is ultra rare and guaranteed original (no it is not a South African acetate from Texas)...Remember, the Acetates are not included............LISTEN TO A SOUND CLIP SAMPLE FROM ACTUAL DISC BELOW ...NO RESERVE!!....SEE PICTURE BELOW.....SEE MY OTHER AUCTIONS FOR MORE RARE NW GARAGE PUNK SOFT PSYCH PSYCHEDELIC FREAKBEAT MOD POP PSYCH HEAVY SUNSHINE FUZZ PROG PROGRESSIVE ROCK NORTHERN SOUL FUNK FUNKY 45'S.....
