THE SOUND TRANSFUSION : Is My Mind / Ain't Gonna Eat Out My Heart Anymore (Blank label Matrix R-2293) Original 60's test pressing of a local NW (Tacoma area?) garage psych 45...Years ago I found 4 of these test pressings and 3 different acetates (pictured below is the acetate that corresponds to the test pressing) .THE ACETATES ARE NOT FOR SALE OR INCLUDED IN THIS AUCTION, AUCTION IS ONLY FOR THE TEST PRESSING)......The Test pressing, I think, is a remixed version of the acetate with the horns more buried in the mix , as the acetate sleeve says to correct/ speed up...just speculation...I have tried to unravel this mystery for years, the only reference to the band I have seen are a couple psychedelic handbills from Portland Oregon listing them as the opening band ; and a 1967-1968 Puyallup High School yearbood pitcuring them playing at a dance.....the test pressing was unplayed when I found it and all 4 had surface noise, probably from poor mastering, at the end of "Aint gonna eat out my heart anymore" side , - EX ........Remember, the Acetates are not included. ...... ... .....LISTEN TO A SOUND CLIP OF THE ACTUAL DISC BELOW(both sides)..... ..
