RARE The Turtles WW-237 Making My Mind Up / Outside Chance 1966 garage rock psych. From 1966.
Description SUPER RARE GARAGE White Whale records 45 Rpm 7' disc.
Labels - Excellent - BB Hole as per photographs.
Vinyl - A side - Excellent with one small area of minor scuffing not affecting play. - B side - Excellent.

Both sides test played today and play very nicely and sound great. No crackles,pops or unwanted sounds etc.
Comes with its original paper sleeve.
This has to be the rarest and oddest of all the Turtles White Whale singles,
This version of "Making my mind up" is different to the one released on the original 1967 Happy Together LP and further vinyl / CD releases. In fact, this version can not be found in any other format as far as I know. It has no horns / brass on it and sounds rawer with some saying it sounds unfinished. To me it sounds just as it would if the band had played it live.
White Whale records released WW237 in the Pacific Northwest only and it was withdrawn soon after. Only 500 copies are reported to have been released.
Rarer still than WW234 which was Outside Chance b/w We'll meet again.
Warren Zevon wrote “Outside Chance” under the pseudonym “Crocker”; but some copies of WW 237 I believe have “Crocker” misspelled as “Cocker” – that is the case with the one offered here.
