Description
The Velvet Underground & Nico Stereo 1st pressing featuring "torso" back cover with Eric Emerson that was later airbrushed out. This is the West Coast pressing as indicated by Side A and B instead of side 1 and 2.
Vinyl is in VG+ condition with the exception because of one feelable scratch that covers the last half of "Femme Fatal" all the way through "Venus In Furs", and ends at the very beginning of "Run Run Run". This produces a click on every rotation. The rest of the album is VG+ with very few whispy light marks. The beginning of "Sunday Morning" is a bit crackly but cleans up after a bit. Side B is VG+ all the way through, great sound! The West Coast pressing is louder and punchier than the East coast pressing. There is a volume adjustment at the beginning of "Venus In Furs" where the song stats quiet, then you can hear the volume being turned slowly up until the correct volume is reached. This also happens on my West Coast Mono copy only the fade up is faster than the Stereo version.Cover in G+ with old water damage on the bottom (see detail photos). The banana sticker is all the way removed. The front cover has staining and gouges near on the left hand side. The back cover has a name stamped in the top right. The inner gatefold has staining and a 2" split in the middle (see photos). 5" seam split on top, 4" seam split on bottom (see photos).
