Description

This sale is for a copy of "The Ventures" the self-titled LP by The Ventures. This is from 1961 (1st pressing) on Dolton BST-8004 in stereo (blue label with dolphin on top). ………. This is in beautiful condition. Check out the photos as they are part of the description. On the next to last line on the label "A Blue Horizon Production" is printed & on the very bottom line it says. "6920 Sunset Blvd. - Los Angeles 28 - California - U S A".  This comes with the original rice paper inner sleeve (has tears). The songs are "The Shuck", "Detour", "Ram Bunk Shush", "Hawaiian War Chant", "Perfidia", "Harlem Nocturne", "Blue Tango", "Ups & Downs", "Lonesome Town", "Torquay", "Wailin'" & "Moon Of Manakoora".

  • Cover : The cover is in NM- condition with lightly bumped corner tips & a very light "498" in pencil on the back near the upper left corner but otherwise this looks just about new.*****PLEASE NOTE***** In the photo below, the spot at the bottom of the cover is from the flash of my camera. This is NOT on the cover. Flash only.


  • Vinyl : The vinyl shines like new with all of its original gloss & is in NM- condition on both sides with a couple of very light surface scuffs.

  • Labels : The labels are in NM- condition with a couple of very light trails.
