From 1965, come The Thirteenth Floor Elevators with their single You're Gonna Miss Me b/w Tried To Hide on Contact 5269. Extremely rare 45 and a MUST for all Thirteenth Floor Elevators fans and fans of garage punk and psych! This was the first time this song was ever issued on vinyl by the Thirteenth Floor Elevators. Extremely rare and from my own personal collection! It was purchased years ago from the sister of the original owner! The Thirteenth Floor Elevators contained Roky Erickson, whose exploits are legendary!
This is a rare regional press, while the Elevators were still in Texas, before it became a hit!!! It had a limited press on this label.
High spot dirt,initials on label of Side 1, wax looks better than VG+ but not VG++,plays VG++!! An extremely rare and important single!
