Rare 1950 45rpm

Most of us associate Federal Records with R&B, and that's not too surprising since 99.9% of their output was just that. But when Syd Nathan first started Federal in 1950, it was just a subsidiary of King Records, and not that different. So it's only natural that from the beginning he would have a few country acts on Federal, just like on King.

This record is by Tommy Scott and pairs the songs "Freckle-Faced Gal" with “Tennessee.” As you can see, this is 10011, which is only the 11th single that Federal released. It wasn't long before Federal stopped having country acts on the label, this is one of the few. This is really rare – so don’t miss out !
