Notes : music and orchestra Armando Trovaioli. An excellent score which follows the different plots and settings of the three episodes which compose the movie. The 1st episode " ADELINA " - 11 tracks which take the whole side A - is musically based on Neapolitan folk songs performed by Michele Mattera and traditional instrumental themes with the wise and modern arrangements of Trovaioli. Furthermore the two versions of " TENE 'A PANZA ", the first (2'42") is an amusing cha cha cha performed by a children's chorus, the second (4'10") features magnificent jazzy sonorities. Jazz is the master of the second side with six superb tunes : all the three tracks of the 2nd episode " ANNA " : " ANNA WITH THE ROLLS ", " DESCANSADO " and " FLOWERS FOR A POOR MILLIONARE ", while on the five tracks of the 3rd episode " MARA " : " PORTRAIT OF M. M. ", " MARA - END TITLE " and " MARA ". The remaining two tracks are fine romantic themes. 19 tracks.

An Italian comedy, starring Sophia Loren and Marcello Mastroianni, directed by Vittorio De Sica.
