Description

An original 1st press of EW on the UK Fly label. Matrix 2U/2U - 1st cut. "Porky Pecko" - official etching. please note the previous owner has etched his name in the deadwax [unofficial!] The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original 1st issue E J Day heavy-card cover. This auction is for ONLY the cover + record.
Vinyl (Ex) In lovely condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome.  A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback with two slight deviations. Intros and inbetweens are very nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. Super audio as you come to expect from these lovely solid early copies. Even those low-key acoustic passages play nice and clean. Interference is very minor and infrequent. All I could detect were a few crackles in a couple of isolated moments per side. The only vague deviations are a couple of isolated ticks in two tracks - absolutely nothing intrusive or persistent. A great rendition of this T-Rex classic....
Cover (Vg) In very nice condition, but exhibiting a bit of surface wear as is very common on this title. The front looks ok, but bear in mind there's a sticker removal mark in the top left corner which has been coloured in. The rear exhibits a bit of surface wear and a few stress creases at the edge. There's edge wear, but nothing epic. Slightly more wear on the spine so don't expect to be able to make out the text. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity, in part, thanks to its heavy-card construction.
