Description
This is a no reserve auction for the following LP vinyl record:
Artist: Jimmy Giuffre - Shelley Manne - Shorty Rogers - Teddy Charles
Title: Callaboration West
Year: 1956
Cat # Prestige 7028
Vinyl Condition: NM
Cover Condition: VG+/NM
Comments: Vinyl is very clean and shiny!! There are a couple of those hairline type sleeve swipes, but they do not affect play in any way. This record has barely any audible surface noise, maybe only noticeable between tracks and hard at that. The cover has mild rub wear and bottom right corner has small bend/wear. Other than that the vinyl and cover are in excellent condition. Labels are pristine!! with N.Y.C. 50th Street address. RVG is hand etched in the dead wax as well as the matrix number. Record is stored in original rice paper sleeve.
All records are shipped in heavy corrugated record mailers.
My shipping price is for the Con. US. only, all other destinations will be a flat rate of $15.
I will be listing more vintage Jazz records in the next few eeks from such labels as Prestige, Verve, Blue Note among others...so keep watching.
**** NOTE TO BUYERS****
I use the Goldmine record grading system, which is detailed below. Cover's and vinyl are graded separately and may not fall into the same category. If you would like more info about a particular title, please ask. I check Ebay often and will try to get back to you promptly.
M (MINT) - Album is brand new, sealed, and unplayed.
NM (NEAR MINT) - Vinyl looks as if you just got it home from a new record store and removed the shrink wrap. LP cover may have some light rub marks.
VG+ (VERY GOOD PLUS) - Vinyl may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience. Sleeves will have some slight wear, lightly turned corners, or a slight seam split. Also may have slight signs of wear also may be marred by a cut out hole, indentation or corner indicating it was taken out of print and sold at discount.
VG (VERY GOOD) - Vinyl has light wear, scratches or scuffs. Covers may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attatched, or small seam splits.
G (GOOD) - Vinyl has moderate, ever wear throughout, but still playable. Surface noise and scratches. A cover or sleeve will has large seam splits. especially at the bottom or on the spine. Tape, writing, ring wear or other defects will start to overwhelm the cover.
P (POOR) - Lowest Grade. Audible scratches, etc. on more than half the tracks. Listening uncomfortable. The sleeve is water damages, split on all three seams or heavily marred by wear and writing.
