Description

An original 1st press of 'Collection' on the UK Parlophone label. Matrix 1G/1G. Stampers 2-OG/2-PH. Please note labels are consistent with 1st press and as a result publishing dates are found over on the left side of the label. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original Mono Garrod & Lofthouse cover with flipbacks. Also included is the original generic white patents no inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) In great condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection there are a couple of light marks either side - nothing troublesome though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. Interference is both minor and infrequent. All we detected was a touch of light static in a couple of isolated moments. It really is an impressive rendition from start to finish.
Cover (Ex) Has clearly been looked after down the years. A lovely shiny front with a couple of tiny creases and no ageing at all. The rear is in great condition too with just one or two very light stains - very little at all really. All flipbacks are nice and secure and edge wear is very light. The spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) Slight ageing and one side split has been taped up.
