Description
An original stereo pressing of AHDN on the UK Parlophone label from 1967. Matrix 1/1. Stampers 3-OM/2-MD. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original Garrod & Lofthouse Stereo cover with flipbacks. Also included is the original black and white Emi advertising inner sleeve. So, 100% complete and 100% original.
Vinyl (Ex+) In super condition and has clearly only seen light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of light marks either side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens were pretty much silent and the audio comes across with top level clarity. Stereo copies are particularly hard to find in tip-top condition. This copy is as well preserved as any I've seen. Interference is minimal. All we detected was a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated spots [literally]. This is final upgrade territory...
Cover (Ex) In very nice shape and clearly been looked after down the years. Lovely shiny front with a couple of minor creases. The rear is in fine form and has escaped most of the fading that often afflicts these covers. Edge wear is pretty much non-existent and the spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover still retains great rigidity and remains a terrific mid-sixties example.
Inner (Ex) No issues at all. No splits.
