Description

The Beatles

“F*ck!” Australian “Apple” (SAPCOR 33)

Another in Australian Beatle fan “Leon A. Throf’s” alternate album series, featuring his irreverent variation of the “Help!” sleeve.

The cover of F*ck! was borrowed from National Lampoon’s October 1977 Beatles issue, with its cover showing the Fabs flattened by a steamroller while crossing Abbey Road. Throf’s film cast differs significantly from the Lampoon’s, written by Executive Editor Gerald Sussman, which takes the form of a proposed souvenir program:

F*ck!

The Beatles

also starring

Melvin Van Peebles

Wayne Fontana Mamie Van Doran Dennis Hopper

Produced by Bo Belinsky

Screenplay by Mandy Rice-Davies

Directed by WERNER FASSBINDER

“After the incredible success of Help!, the Beatles made an even wackier sequel called F*ck!, a soft-core porn film with a jelly center. Unfortunately, it was never released, because of constant litigation by the various estates of the deceased partners.”

Ring wear noted to front and back sleeves, lower left corner is heavily bumped. No seam splits or writing on sleeve.

LPs (housed in plain white sleeves) are very clean, with only a few light surface scuffs evident, likely from removal from their inner sleeves. A few spindle marks are noted to each label. I am giving each a visual grade of VG+. Disc one is on a blank white label, disc two uses SAPCOR’s red Rubber Soul label with track listings.
