Description

An original 1st MONO press of HELP on UK Parlophone. Matrix 2/2 - 1st cut. Please note the publishing credits for 'Act Naturally' is the abbreviated 'Lark Mus.' - as you find on the 1st copies. There's also a space between the asterisk and the end of 'I Need You'. Yes, it sounds crazy - but this is what you find on the earliest copies...Nice chunky vinyl which comes housed in an original mono G&L cover. We also have an original Emitex inner. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) In really very nice condition and has only seen light  use. Excellent lustre for the timeframe. Under close inspection there are a couple of light marks per side, one very superficial trail - nothing troublesome though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. Good clean feed - precisely for this classic Beatles LP. It means when you get to those fussy acoustic tracks - nothing will spoil the fun. Expect the odd minor static crackle occasionally. But to be frank - it's an excellent player which should happily smoke most other copies out there on the market. Yesterday is very fussy and plays much cleaner than you typically find - just a couple of crackles in a couple of spots. A super copy which manages a fantastic rendition of this Beatles classic.
Cover (Ex-) The front looks gorgeous and very flat - few copies look this clean and tidy..just a slight surface level crease. A touch of lowlevel ageing on the rear but still very tidy. The spine is 99% intact. The cover still retains excellent rigidity. Fyi there's a small leaf floated onto Ringos leg - nothing worrisome!
Inner (Vg) Aged a bit , but no splits.
