This spectacular 1965 UK 1st mono pressing is on the yellow & black Parlophone label: PMC 1255


Matrix numbers: XEX 549-2 & XEX 550-2

Stamper codes: 4/AAH & 5/AAH

Vinyl weight: 156g


Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed mono cover, complete with original rice-paper lined inner-sleeve.


CONDITION
Disc: NEAR MINT

This disc was played just ONCE by its original owner - the evidence of this is visible on the label around the centre hole. Both playing surfaces are immaculate with just a few harmless wispy paper hairlines from initial inner-sleeve insertion/removal visible beneath halogen light. The sound quality is clean, warm and totally unworn with just a touch of low-level vinyl background between tracks. Tough to find a better example.

Cover: EXCELLENT +

A fine clean & strong example with a moderately toned front panel bearing just three tiny spine wrinkles but no 'thumbnails' creases. There is a tiny 2mm nick to the front opening edge and minor shelfwear bruising to the lower corners, but this cover has clearly been hidden away and untouched for a very long time. The rear panel is pristine white & unblemished and both seams and the spine are smooth & undamaged.
