The Beatles - Hey Jude Apple Revolutions label Error UK LP

Item: The Beatles - Hey Jude CPCS 106 Stereo UK LP Dark Apple labels with Revolutions and Paper Back Writer (should be Paperback Writer) these errors were only found on the very 1st pressings of this very rare export LP which although was made in UK was never made for direct sale in the UK upon 1st release. UK record shops imported it from the countries that were originally exported too making it a very hard to find pressing. It was only in the late 70's that UK pressed it on Parlophone for sale in the UK making this particular press a highly collectible press and with the very rare label errors a highly collectible pressing that is now very hard to find.

Detailed Descriptions

The Sleeve: VG Has 4 crease marks to the front and 2 big creases to the rear and very small laminate lift to the bottom rear corner. The spine is still clearly readable there is a litlle wear and looks like a seam split but actually isnt a split. 

Inner Sleeve: VG+ Has lots of spindle marks but no wear to both sides.

 The Labels: VG+ Has lots of spindle marks but no wear to either side.

 Record Visually Graded: VG- There is a light scratch mark to side one is just visual and can not be felt there are scuff marks but nothing that can be felt or effects play.

 Record Playback: VG+ Side 1 plays with some crackle yet side 2 sounds quieter and Hey Jude sounds great and without crackle. I couldn't hear much deterioration in sound quality maybe on side 1 more than side 2 still only a little and plays great. There is 5 clicks on track 2 side 1 plays through fine.

Please note that the record has been professionally cleaned on a record cleaning machine with a non alcohol cleaning solution

I use the following grading system:

M=Mint: The record/sleeve is brand new condition. Just like when first pressed and the record will have no deterioration in sound quality. All items including lyric sheet poster etc are in perfect condition.

NM=Near Mint: The record or sleeve may just marginally be off new condition and have the odd minor flaw.

EX=Excellent: The record shows signs of being played, but there is hardly any lessening in sound quality. The cover might show signs of wear.

 VG=Very Good: The record has been played many times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality. Despite the odd occasional surface marks and the odd light scratch. The cover will shows signs of usage without any major defects.

 G= Good: The record has been played numerous times and the sound quality has deteriorated and plays with distortion. The cover will have seam splits, scuffing of edges, discolouration and creases/ing.

 F=Fair: The record has not been cared for properly and has loud surface noise but is still just playable. The sleeve will be torn, stained/defaced. 

P=Poor: The record will not play properly due scratches and will have bad surface noise. The cover will be damaged and even have parts missing.

 B=Bad: The record is unplayable possibly broken, which would only be considered as a collection filler.

I use a plus and minus signs +/-  to show if marginally better or worse condition.

Postage: UK/Europe = £8.15 Rest Of The World = £8.75

The item will be sent recorded delivery i usually dispatch within 3 working days (post offices are closed at weekends in Cyprus). I never send out any parcel I wouldn't be happy to receive myself! All records are removed from their sleeves and placed in a new plastic sealable sleeve for posting! I use cruciform mailers which are very strong.
