Description
For auction is a great condition First U.K. issue copy from 1970 of The Beatles final released album - Let it Be.
This copy has the original first issue sleeve with the red Apple logo on the rear. This sleeve is in VG+ condition with only very light corner wear. Edges intact as is spine, which is fully readable. These early Red Apple sleeves are rare in any condition.
The record labels are clean, with no marks or writing and only minimal spindle marks. Excellent condition.
Both sides have the 2U matrices - further proof this is an early first edition copy. Side 1 Stampers not easy to read - could be 1 or 2 MT. Side 2 stamper is 1GMM.
Visually both sides are VG+. Some minor scuffs and hairlines but nothing that causes clicks sticks or jumps. Some occasional light crackles in quiet passages. Sonically I would grade as Excellent.
Note to bidders.
This is an auction with a starting price. Any ‘best offers’ have to be significantly above the starting price to be considered.
