Description
Up for auction here is your chance to own this stunning true1st pressing of the Beatles Please Please Me LP with just stunning audio, I put very rare, yes the record is rare but to find a copy that plays like this is very rare indeed, played at full volume through my valve amps it is whisper quite between tracks and no clicks and buzzes to distract from the performance. Compared to later pressings that I have it is so very dynamic and with so much space, the sound it is so crisp, clear and detailed. There are a number of small hairs on the pics of the discs, not scratches. There are some small marks on them if you look closely but nothing at all that affects play, it plays faultlessly all the way through on both sides. You will have to wait a long time to find a copy as good this, if there is another copy out there that can match this. So act quick if you want to secure a very rare copy such as this, discs of this quality very rarely come on the market as their value only increases. I am only selling this copy and some others as I'm moving home and don't want to risk damage or for it to go missing. The run out codes side one XEX 421-1N side two XEX 422-1N.
The sleeve is in very good condition, the spine is good, but there is some wear to the corners and the opening area on the back is a little 'grubby' but not too bad. It not only comes with the original inner sleeve in very good condition it comes with the original shop bag from NEMS the Liverpool record shop from which it was purchased in 1963 very rare indeed, it will be shipped in another inner sleeve to avoid damage to the original. Thanks for looking, twelve pics are not enough so if you want close up pics of the labels or any other areas just ask and I will get them off to you. It will be sent by special delivery and insured. International shipping goes at buyers risk, it will be insured for as much as I can buy but I'm unsure of the amounts available.
