This is from the last batch of numbered mono copies with the sleeve reverting back to a top opening.

Although the sequential numbering of the covers remains somewhat of a mystery, it appears that the first 300,000 numbers were generally held for mono covers (top opening), and the numbers 300,001 to 600,000 were held for stereo (side opening). Some later mono covers (top opening) were printed with numbers over 600,000, perhaps as high as 630,000.

Matrix Side 1 - XEX 709 - 1 MR 4
