The cartoon film of Yellow Submarine is thought to be the first film based on a song The Soundtrack album was originally scheduled for release in December 1968 although it failed to appear until January 17th 1969 For the first time in Britain a Beatles album contained non-Beatles material, in the shape of original musical score for the film by George Martin

The album was issued in Stereo only in the U.S. while the UK album was available in both Stereo & Mono, although the Mono version is simply a fold-down (a combination of two stereo channels into one Mono)
The vinyl looks clean there a few lines over the vinyl on both sides, but not deep and can't be felt to touch
the cover has seen better days the Front looks clean with a few light creases
The back has a Masking Tape residue with a slight tear also a name in blue biro ink is written on the B side label (see photos)
