Description
Third state Butcher Cover of The Beatles Yesterday And Today USA Album. I purchased this a few years ago as a partially peeled second state. Whoever STARTED to peel the truck cover off got a little aggressive in places. We CAREFULLY peeled the rest away and got all the remnants off (a little bit of the truck cover are still on here). I have a video of the peel job on my Collecting Beatles 101 YouTube channel (I have two of these... it's the chronologically first of the videos).
The spine was split, and has been glued back together VERY CAREFULLY. Lower right corner is worn, as pictured.
This is a Los Angeles #6 cover. The glue they used in LA for the paste over was a stronger glue that what Scranton used, so extra care was needed. The circles you see on the right front cover are reportedly normal, due to the pressing plant machinery.
I have the inner sleeve that came with it. The record is being play tested as I list this. The vinyl is in rough shape with pops, some skips on both sides, and surface noise.
This has been in my extensive Beatles (and record) collection for several years. I am streamlining and letting one go!
