Description
This is the butcher cover original version of the Beatles US album Yesterday & Today. This is a "third state" copy which means that the pasted-on Trunk Cover has been professionally perfectly removed.
This is a rare opportunity to own a near-perfect specimen of this Holy Grail of Beatles collectibles. Only a true "first state" cover (costing thousands) is superior.
The seams are intact but the paper has separated in spots along the edges (see photos). The original record IS included, but not surprisingly, it is not in great shape - graded VG or VG-. There is a name written in the rainbow on both sides.
** This item has a very interesting side story. The upper right corner has a bullet type hole, used for cutout lp's.
Can you imagine that someone bought this (hidden) butcher cover record for $1.99?? Wow.
