Description
You are viewing an auction for The Beatles "Please Please Me/From Me To You" vinyl 45 - Vee Jay Records 498. This has a black label with color band and oval logo. The group's name credits are much smaller than the song title "PLEASE PLEASE ME." Pressed in styrene by Monarch Records (MR) and released in the spring of 1963.
This has the corrected group name with only one T instead of two Ts. As you all probably know, VJ 498 flopped in the US and thus all label variations are quite difficult to find.
This copy has one minor flaw that I can see. There is a mark through the A side label (visible in the photos). I am uncertain as to whether this is a factory caused mark or if a prior owner somehow caused the mark.
The vinyl is visually in excellent condition with minor signs of use. It has been play tested and sounds great. Grades - VG++.
Includes original Vee Jay factory sleeve in excellent condition.
