Description
This is certainly one of the most valuable do-wop singles ever. And this one is in very presentable condition. I am willing to bet that it's in far better condition than the only other on ebay in 'buy it now'. Check the price on that one. But I like seeing fair competition. Please dont let me down all you rarity collectors. This is a 10 day listing. I will start the bidding at 49.99, a 20th of NM book value. Please read my description closely. I will be as accurate as I can be. This is a nice one.
King Records - 45--4558 - 100% guaranteed original and authentic. - Matrix info is K-45-8253-1
The disk exibits full gloss. Side 2, Oh Oh Oh Baby is near EX+ visually. Only ultra fine micro lines can be seen in the trailoff area. Anything else can only be seen in bright light and have no affect on play whatsoever. Side 1, is the same as side 2, but has a small superficial sqiggly line that is about the size of a small pubic hair from a teenage debutante. It does not affect play. When play grading, the only surface noise was a few tics near the end that seems to be from some tiny boogers in the grooves. I will leave cleaning to the buyer. I am afraid to even handle it. When spinning on the turntable I noticed a VERY slight warp, so slight it's not even worth addressing. The labels are NM. In the photos it looks like soiling at the bottom of the word KING, but thats caused by the light where the disk tapers to the hole.
I know how to ship 45s safely and properly. I hope my feedback will attest to that. I am also offering free insurance to US buyers, insured for the ending price. Questions are welcomed. Thanks for looking.
I ship records properly, 'disk out of cover' in a 2 ml poly sleeve and sent in a cardboard LP mailer. Questions are welcomed. Bid with confidence.
VINYL GRADING
M- = a pristine record
EX+ = a near mint record. May have VERY minor marks that can only be seen in bright light and plays with NO surface noise
EX = a well-kept record. May have micro-sleeve lines, perhaps minor marks that do NOT affect play. NM-
VG+ = a nice record. May have superficial marks but plays with MINIMAL surface sound ONLY in quiet passages.
VG = a used record. Has visible marks, light scratches and minor surface noise, but is still a good listening experience.
VG- = a well-used record. Has marks, minor scratches and obvious surface noise, but still plays through with NO skips and is still enjoyable.
I do not sell items below these ratings.
NOTE: Please do not bid unless you intend to buy. If you have 0 to 5 bid history, please contact me before bidding. Sorry, but I have had some problems with members who don't take this venue seriously.
