Description

An original 1st press of SAND on UK CBS custom labels. Matrix A4/B2/C3/D3/E4/F2. Etching 'Timtom'. The vinyl comes housed in an original box cover. The Armageddon Times gimmick paper [lyrics] is present. ALL three original inner sleeves with brown flecking. So, we're properly 100% complete and 100% genuine.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In lovely condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection I can only make out while one trail mark on side 5 which does sound briefly [see detail]. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with a couple of deviations. Plays nice and clean throughout. One click observed midway through side 5. The only significant issue is caused by that trail mark in the track 'SKIN'. I picked out a couple of ticks toward the end of the track - and one very brief non-repeating skip in the fiddle toward the end. Not a major issue - it's during the long drawn out instrumental outro. Highly entertaining!<<
Cover (Vg) Notoriously difficult to find in decent condition. Sticking triple vinyl into a soft card unlaminated box cover was always going to cause issues...a couple of years down the line.. let alone 40! The borders are still fairly white and that front image is not tarnished by surface wear or creasing. The rear exhibits some handling. A bit of edge wear, but nothing unsightly. Spine - text only 50/50 legible with some wear. No splits or anything.
Inners (Vg+) No splits. Only light ageing. Remember these are the original flecked inners.
Armegeddon Times [Vg+] A bit tanned - but overall very smart.
