Here is The Cure-Lament

(LYN 12011)

Released 1982

This early version of Lament was recorded exclusively for flexi-pop Magazine and was given away with issue number 22, which incidentally, did not include a feature on The Cure. This flexi-disc version is very different from the version later found on the Walk 12" and Japanese whispers. It was recorded by Robert Smith and Steve Severin as a one-off at Garden Studios in London. The majority of these flexi-discs were green, but red copies were also issued and consequently are considerably more scarce.
