The Doors - Strange Days

(Elektra EKL 4014 UK LP 1967)


This is a UK original Mono LP pressing. It has a fully laminated sleeve. It comes with its original Lyric/ Picture Inner Sleeve. This is printed on paper. The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has orange & black "Elektra" labels. The record has 1st press A-1/ B-1 matrix stampers. A genuine UK 1st Mono pressing complete with inner sleeve.



Sleeve: There is some a 4 cm seam split at the centre of the spine. There are 3 cat scratch marks to the spine also. There is some mild or moderate rubbing wear to the corner tips. There is some light or mild ringwear. Good+ condition

Vinyl: There is some moderate to considerable sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There are about 4 light marks. Good condition. The labels are in VG condition & show moderate spindle wear.

The Lyric/ Picture Inner Sleeve is in Good+ condition. There is some mild chipping & some small tears at the inner sleeve opening. There is a 8 cm seam split at the bottom opening. There is some mild to more moderate ringwear & creasing. There is a small stain on one side. I shall place the vinyl in a separate plain paper inner sleeve to protect the original inner sleeve from any more damage during transit. 

I have fully play tested this LP. It plays VG to VG+ overall. There is some light, mild or very mild crackle in some quieter places. There are no jumps, sticks or loud clicks. Overall, considering the condition, not too bad an audio copy.
