Description
I found a collection of vinyl records in my grandma’s basement. Most of these records have probably been down there for about 50 years. Sorry, I do not have a record player so can not be sure of the sound. To be honest, I'm using AI to help me estimate an appropriate starting bid because I know nothing about records. SIDE ONE lists song one as "BREAK ON THROUGH (To The Oher Side)" instead of Other, so this typographical error may make it more valuable?
SIDE ONE lists song five as "ALABAMA SONG (Whisky Bar)" instead of Whiskey, so there's another typo. Hey kids, drugs are bad, haha.
The edge of the cover says “The DOORS ELEKTRA RECORDS EKL-4007(mono).
The etching on the vinyl near the label says
"🔼 10046 EKL-4007A(MON)" on Side 1
and
"🔼 10046-X EKL-4007B(MON)" on Side 2 (note the emoji is meant to represent a triangle).
The cover is still 11/12ths covered in original clear wrap.
The original elektra sleeve is in good condition with a small wear tear along one edge.
The record looks pretty good on both sides, I can tell that grandma played this record at least once because it had some fingerprints on it and what I would call minor scuffs, but nothing that looks like a deep scratch.
