Description

For sale is "The Essential BILLIE HOLIDAY," on  Verve V-8410, Mono, Gatefold, 1961. 
SOUND: VG+ or better It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. The sound is excellent. Only a touch of faint surface noise, once and a while a few soft little tics. Very minor. An excellent playback.
VINYL: NM Visually, the vinyl is clean and glossy. Looks to be in terrific condition. The labels show a few spindle-scuffs,
JACKET: NM The gatefold jacket is lovely, solid all-around, clean, unmarked, and beautiful condition. The only imperfection is the imprint of 4 pieces of scotch tape that I removed from the front cover. No damage or tearing of the surface, very unobtrusive. The spine is still too stiff to lie flat.

Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability. 
Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.  
If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction.
